
Tragedy struck on a quiet sidewalk in Las Vegas early Monday morning when a man was discovered with a fatal stab wound. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a distress call around 4:42 a.m. last Monday, April 28, after an injured male reportedly knocked on a door seeking help on the 2100 block of Citrus Hills Avenue. Despite being rushed to UMC Hospital, the victim's injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead sometime after his arrival.
The aftermath of the incident left a blood trail, which officers traced to a sidewalk on the south side of Lake Mead Boulevard. The LVMPD Homicide Section has taken the reins of a the investigation, scouring for clues and piecing together the moments that led to the man's untimely death. According to the LVMPD, the identification of the victim and the specifics surrounding the cause and manner of death are yet to be disclosed and will be made available through the Clark County Coroner's Office.
