An incident unfolded last Sunday night in southwest Las Vegas as a woman was struck and killed by an SUV in what has been confirmed as a hit-and-run incident. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the collision occurred before 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Conquistador Street. Investigators have specific interest in locating a vehicle described as an older model Ford Edge or Lincoln MKX with noticeable front-end damage, reported News 3 LV.
The victim, identified only as a woman, was found kneeling or lying in the roadway when she was hit by the suspect vehicle. She was transported to UMC where, she was later pronounced dead.
