Las Vegas will be warmest today before temperatures slowly drop. Winds will get stronger on Wednesday and Thursday as a weather system moves through the area. The National Weather Service says temperatures will go down "a few degrees each day on Wednesday and Thursday" in southern Nevada, southeast California, and northwest Arizona. No rain is expected.
A weather system is expected to move into the area over the weekend, bringing "gusty winds and cooler than normal temperatures." Forecasts indicate uncertainty around the system’s exact strength, moisture levels, and timing. Cooler and windier conditions are likely on Saturday and Sunday, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Las Vegas temperatures are expected to drop "back below-normal, with high temperatures in the 70s for Las Vegas heading into the next work week." Winds at Harry Reid Airport will be "light and variable winds" in the morning, shifting to "southwesterly with gusts to around 20 knots late this afternoon." Gusts may increase to 25–35 knots by Wednesday. Weather spotters are being asked to report any significant changes, as stated by the National Weather Service.
