The recent inclement weather in Las Vegas is on its way out, with the National Weather Service forecasting a return to calm and warmer temperatures next week. According to the latest NWS Las Vegas weather forecast, the system that has been stirring up gusty winds and sporadic rainfall is expected to relent starting today, making room for a weaker pressure system and clearer skies.

For those in the Las Vegas area, wind speeds should persist at 15 to 25 mph with some gusts possibly hitting the 30 mph mark down the Colorado River Valley. While these conditions may not trigger wind advisories, it's still advised to exercise caution, especially on area lakes where gusts could cause rough waters. Winds are not expected to be strong enough to warrant any wind headlines, but caution should still be used on area lakes due to the gusty winds.

Temperatures, which have been trailing a few degrees below the norm, are projected to rise around 10 degrees by early next week. Las Vegas could see mid-80 temperatures by Monday afternoon, offering some reprieve from the cooler air residents have been experiencing.
