In order to understand and possibly regulate the influx of short-term rentals, Lewisville Neighborhood Services is seeking feedback from the locals. A survey released through the city's official social media channels asks residents to weigh in on the matter.
The survey, which is designed not to take longer than 10 to 15 minutes, includes 13 questions and provides spaces for residents to share their thoughts freely. This approach aims to better inform the city on how to potentially move to regulate the number of such rentals within the community. According to a post from Lewisville City Hall, "The survey is available through Friday, April 11."
Residents have expressed mixed reactions to the growth of short-term rentals, with some enjoying the economic benefits they bring to the area and others worried about their impact on neighborhood dynamics. To participate, residents can visit the provided online link and complete the survey.
