Officials in Macomb County are on the lookout for a suspect involved in a vehicle theft that occurred earlier this week. ClickOnDetroit reports that the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who was caught on camera stealing various items from a parked pickup truck on last Sunday.
According to the report, the owner of the truck had parked behind his residence when the theft took place. The suspect, described as a man with a beard, wearing blue jeans and a grey jacket, was recorded entering the vehicle and lifting money, a knife, and a gun light.
Further information shared by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office on a Facebook post detailed that the larceny was reported shortly after the victim noticed his belongings were missing and reviewed his security footage. The suspect's identity remains unknown, and authorities are appealing to the public for assistance.
