Tragedy unfolded in southwest Houston on Monday morning as police were called to investigate a deadly stabbing at an apartment complex. The Houston Police Department confirmed that a man was found deceased, the apparent victim of a stabbing, inside an apartment located at 9001 South Braeswood Boulevard just after 9 a.m. ABC13 reported the address and the time of the incident, noting that law enforcement and crime scene tape marked the scene.
When officers arrived, they found the man's body and detained a female suspect at the scene. No information about the victim or the suspect has been released yet. KHOU reported that homicide detectives were on South Braeswood Boulevard, near Bissonnet, at around 8:05 a.m.
The Houston Police Department has not released more details about what led to the fatal confrontation. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives reviewing evidence and speaking to witnesses, as per KHOU.
