Early this morning, a tragic incident unfold on the roads of Friendswood, where a two-vehicle rollover crash claimed the life of one man and injured a woman. According to Click2Houston, the Friendswood Police Department responded to an emergency call around 1:30 a.m. near FM 528 and Falcon Ridge Boulevard.
The responding officers discovered two drivers who had been involved in the serious collision. Both were promptly transported to a nearby hospital. As per KHOU, the man was later pronounced dead. The woman was reported to be in stable condition. While investigations continue to thoroughly understand what led to the crash, all lanes of FM 528 were closed initially but have since been reopened. The Friendswood Police Department has advised motorists to alternatively use FM 2351 and Friendswood Parkway to dodge the crash site.
The Friendswood Police Department’s crash team is investigating the incident to determine the events leading to the fatality.
