The Long Beach Police Department reported that officers were called to the scene at the 400 block of Shoreline Village Drive on Saturday, at around 7:29 p.m. A statement from the LBPD detailed that the incident stemmed from a verbal dispute between the victim and a suspect who remains unidentified.
Upon officers' arrival at the scene, they found the male victim with a wound to his upper body. The Long Beach Fire Department responded quickly, providing medical aid and transporting the injured man to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. Swinging an unknown object that left a wound in the man's upper body, the suspect fled on foot immediately following the stabbing.
