
Authorities in Westmoreland County are on the hunt for a man involved in an armed robbery at a Par Mar convenience store. According to TribLIVE, the robbery occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. yesterday when a man wielding a knife demanded money from the cashier.
Witnesses describe the suspect as a male, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds. He was last seen adorned in a black hooded sweatshirt, blue T-shirt, blue jeans, a gray hat, and white shoes. The WPXI report includes the suspect's direction after the robbery, which was southbound on Route 982 toward Latrobe Derry Road.
The District Attorney’s Office for Westmoreland County, headed by Nicole Ziccarelli, has also shared information regarding the robbery. State police have not yet disclosed if any individuals were harmed during the incident or the amount taken from the Par Mar store located at 5071 Route 982 in Derry.
As law enforcement continues its search for the individual responsible, it is urging anyone with information to come forward and contact Pennsylvania State Police or call 911. The investigation is ongoing, and updates are expected as more details become available.
