Maricopa County is taking steps to actively involve its residents in the future shaping of their community through a series of public input sessions for their Framework 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The second round of outreach events promises to be a melting pot of ideas, offering residents a chance to voice their opinions on the draft plan. These sessions are scheduled from April 24th to May 9th and will be held both virtually and in various locations across the county. The structure is designed to accommodate as many residents as possible, providing them an opportunity to personally contribute to the future of their home.
Maricopa County encourages all residents, especially those in unincorporated areas, to take part in these sessions. In a move to actively provide options, the county will host a grand virtual event on April 24th, and will continue to hold in-person events in five districts. Each session will showcase community feedback collected so far and involve interactive activities to help decide how to best to incorporate this feedback into the plan.
