Community members in Marysville are invited to learn more about inclusive play during an event on May 13, organized by the City of Marysville. The event focuses on the development of a playground designed for people of all abilities.
As per the City of Marysville website, Jill Moore, a former Paralympian and expert in inclusive playground design, will speak at the event. She will discuss the importance of creating play environments that serve children and adults with a range of physical and developmental needs.
The event will take place at the Marysville Civic Center Council Chambers, starting at 2 p.m. After the presentation, attendees can participate in a hands-on demonstration at Jennings Memorial Park around 4:30 p.m.
Assistant Parks Director Dave Hall said in the announcement, "The City is committed to providing welcoming parks and playgrounds that everyone in the community can enjoy."
