The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications to reserve county facilities for the period from August 1 to December 31. This includes pools, gyms, fields, stadiums, and tennis courts, according to the County of Maui.
Leagues can submit paperwork from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 1 and May 2. Schools and other groups seeking recreational or general use can submit their paperwork from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 5 and May 6. Special events, including tournaments and assemblies, are not included in this round of permits, as reported by the County of Maui.
The submission process for permits can be completed by emailing [email protected] or submitting in person at the temporary Department of Parks and Recreation Permits office, located by the War Memorial Ichiro “Iron” Maehara Baseball Stadium in Wailuku.
