Thefts of all sizes have hit gas stations, stores, and homes. At a Shell on Range Line, a suspect stole five t-shirts after arguing with the clerk, then drove off in a black Infiniti coupe. In another case, someone stole packages from a porch on East Parkway South and left in a grey Nissan Maxima, as reported by the Memphis Police Department.

Clothing stores like Citi Trends, Citi Gear, Family Dollar, and Marshalls have reported shoplifting, with suspects stealing items of different values. Some suspects have stolen more than once, showing a possible pattern. It’s not just clothing—CVS was targeted for paper towels and cleaning supplies, and over $300 worth of food was stolen from a Shell station on Covington Pike, as stated by the Memphis Police Department.
