The Metro Nashville Police Department is currently probing the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting of 23-year-old Dontrail Spencer Jr., which occurred on a quiet Friday evening on 2721 Hydes Ferry Road, as reported by WSMV. Spencer was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital. He was taken there in a private vehicle by others who had also been inside the home.
Officers arrived at the addressed home after a 911 call placed at about 8:39 p.m. alerted them to an issue at the residence, WKRN noted. The Police encountered a secured house upon arrival, and entry was forced, wherein they discovered blood and an AR-style rifle, but no residents were present.
Police officials have not filed any charges relating to the event as of now, and the property, according to WSMV, is owned by Rasheedat Fetuga, the President and Founder of Gideon’s Army.
