According to official reports, police responded to a 911 call at around 11:26 p.m. on April 10, 2025, in the 1600 block of V Street, Southeast. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male, identified as 31-year-old Michael Alanzo Jackson, in an unconscious state with multiple puncture wounds. Jackson, who had no fixed address, was then rushed to a local hospital.
Despite extensive efforts to save his life, Jackson ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The Metropolitan Police Department is urging anyone with details about the homicide to come forward and provide information. There's a standing reward of up to $25,000 for tips leading to an arrest and conviction in this case—or any homicide in the District.
