Michigan State Police are actively seeking assistance to locate a Montcalm County man, Waldemar Aaron Wieland, who has not been seen since last Thursday. Wieland, a 36-year-old resident of Sheridan, is described as a man of considerable stature, standing 6-foot-4 and weighing approximately 350 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue cotton pants, WZZM 13 reported.
Wieland's physical characteristics include black and gray hair with green eyes, which could potentially aid those trying to spot him in a crowd. FOX 17 emphasizes that his family has not had any contact with him over the past week and a half, further adding to the concern.
There has been a concerted effort by local law enforcement to disseminate information on Wieland's last known appearance. WOODTV joins in this effort, providing detail on the clothing he was last known to be wearing. Currently, troops continue to actively pursue all leads and are pleading for anyone with knowledge of Wieland's current location or past movements to immediately reach out to the state police. The Michigan State Police are asking the public for help. If you have any information, please call the Lakeview Post at 989-352-8444.
