Tragedy struck Milwaukee with two separate shooting incidents yesterday that resulted in the loss of two lives and injuries to two others. The first incident, reported by FOX6 News, describes a daytime shooting where a 24-year-old individual was gravely wounded and needed immediate hospitalization for treatment after the violence unfolded around 3 p.m.
In the dark of the same evening, another burst of gunfire terrorized the Old North Milwaukee neighborhood, near North Hopkins Street & West Hampton Avenue. Two people were fatally injured, and a third was left wounded in this late-night altercation. As per details provided by WISN, Milwaukee Police responded to the scene shortly after the incident that took place around 11:15 p.m. The same incident, was further confirmed by TMJ4, reporting two 37-year-old victims pronounced dead at the scene, while a 34-year-old was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating both incidents, working to piece together the circumstances that led to these violent outcomes. They have not yet indicated whether the shootings are connected or what the motivations behind these acts may be.
