The search for 86-year-old Herbert Richard Newsome III has been resolved, as the Baltimore County Police Department has confirmed the closure of the missing person case initially reported last Saturday. Mr. Newsome, who suffers from cognitive impairment, was reported missing after last being seen driving a black 2022 Kia Forte in the Owings Mills area.
According to the Baltimore County Police, he was found safe and sound, bringing the Silver Alert issued for his disappearance to an end. The announcement was made on the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons’ Facebook page, bringing much relief to concerned locals and family members.
The Baltimore County Police have expressed appreciation for the public’s help and alertness that led to the successful resolution of this case.
