Houston authorities have confirmed that two missing 12-year-old girls, Capri Newsome and Anaya Bell, have been found safe. The search, which began yesterday afternoon, has ended, according to Click2Houston.
Capri Newsome was last seen yesterday, around 4:42 p.m. in the 2000 block of Spears Road in Houston. She was with another missing child, Anaya Bell, at the time, as reported by Fox26Houston. Authorities had shared descriptions of the youths, with Newsome last seen in a red polo shirt, black pants, and possibly her glasses, carrying a black mesh backpack.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed the safe recovery of the two girls this morning, though they have not released details regarding the circumstances of their disappearance.
