The Modesto Police Department has confirmed that 73-year-old Billy Adams, who had been reported missing earlier this week, has been found safe. Adams was last seen on Monday walking toward a Boost Mobile store on Carver Road. Police located him in good condition and announced the update through social media, as reported by the Modesto Police Department.
Prior to his discovery, the Modesto Police Department issued a request for public assistance in locating a missing man, Adams, who was considered at risk due to medical conditions and his reliance on a cane. Adams, described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 178 pounds, was last seen wearing a grey beanie, black glasses, a plaid grey jacket, blue jeans, and white Nike shoes. Authorities expressed concern for his well-being and urged anyone with information to come forward to help ensure his safe return.
According to the Modesto Police Department on their Facebook page, Adams was located after they requested the public’s help through social media. Citizens were asked to call the non-emergency dispatch number with information.
