Montgomery County Police are actively seeking the public's help to identify a suspect involved in a recent Price Avenue shooting. According to authorities, the incident unfolded in the early hours on a chilly January morning. The Montgomery County Department of Police has turned to surveillance footage in hopes that new leads will surface from those who may recognize the man responsible for the violence.
At around 2:40 a.m. on January 18, officers from the 4th District were called to the scene after reports of gunfire rang out. The investigation has since determined that the suspect had previously been at Unplugged Restaurant & Sports Bar before he allegedly decided to open fire on a vehicle post-departure. While the vehicle was struck, officials confirmed that there were fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male with black hair, medium in length, donned in a dark jacket and sporting a Washington cap at the time of the shooting, as detailed by the department's website.
Turning to the public for assistance, detectives have released surveillance video images and are offering a sizable reward for information leading to the suspect's apprehension. The Montgomery County Police Department urges anyone with knowledge of the suspect or the crime to come forward.
