According to the Montgomery County Police official press release, a Hispanic female victim with a gunshot wound was pronounced dead after being driven to White Oak Medical Center by a male who then fled the scene.
Responding at roughly 7:15 a.m., officers were briefed by emergency room staff, who had had a fleeting interaction with the person of interest before he left abruptly. Descriptions provided reveal the victim as a woman in her early to mid-20s, marked by tattoos on various parts of her body. Left driving a newer model white Ford Mustang, the Hispanic male person of interest has been captured on surveillance images distributed by detectives.
As the victim was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, an autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause and manner of death. To further the investigation, authorities are urging anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward.
