
A mother and her young daughter have been found safe after a reported abduction incident in Garner, which resulted in an intense search by local law enforcement. CBS17 reports that the two were kidnapped from their home on the 500 block of Buck Branch Drive and were located in Wake Forest on Tuesday morning.
According to the Garner Police Department, the call was received at 10:53 p.m. Monday, indicating that masked and armed perpetrators broke into the residence of Eliuth Alejandro Martinez and demanded $1 million. The The News & Observer detailed how the situation escalated after the suspects took the woman and her one-year-old daughter when their demands were not met.
In a statement obtained by ABC11, the Garner police described the suspects as two Hispanic men, and the third accomplice as an Hispanic woman with curly black hair, short stature, and "stocky" build. They were reportedly seen leaving the area in a black Nissan Altima.
