
The Metropolitan Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in locating suspects tied to an assault in Northeast Washington. The incident occurred last Friday, around 7:18 p.m. on the 4900 block of Central Avenue NE. An argument between the suspects and the victim reportedly intensified, culminating in the suspects drawing handguns and assaulting the victim before fleeing the scene.
According to the MPD's statement, the victim sustained a non-life-threatening laceration during the confrontation. The department has released surveillance images and video footage in a bid to gather information that could lead to the identification and location of the suspects involved in this assault.
