West Michigan has recently seen a series of vandalism incidents targeting Tesla properties. In Kentwood, during the early hours of March 10, five Tesla trucks were damaged. According to WWMT, the trucks were spray painted, and now the Kentwood Police Department is appealing to the public to help identify the perpetrators behind this malicious destruction of property.
Meanwhile, another incident at a Tesla manufacturing facility off Patterson Avenue SE was reported by the Kent County Sheriff's Office. Over the weekend, an office building at the site suffered minor damage to a window. WOODTV notes that with a string of assaults on Tesla facilities across the country, the local authorities are now working with the FBI to carefully investigate the matter, which appears to be part of a broader pattern of targeted acts against the electric vehicle company.
Recent vandalism incidents have surfaced in West Michigan, with one photo showing a Kentwood Tesla truck spray-painted with the phrase "Nazis always lose." Kentwood Police have released the images in an effort to identify two individuals believed to be involved in the incident. Earlier, another Tesla vehicle was defaced with a similar message while the owner was dining nearby. These incidents have prompted protests outside Tesla showrooms in West Michigan and led to ongoing discussions about the company's direction under Elon Musk’s leadership, as detailed in a report by WZZM13.
