
On Tuesday morning, detectives from the Murfreesboro Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division began searching for two individuals connected to the theft of outdoor equipment from a local Lowe's store. According to a Facebook post by the Murfreesboro TN Police Department, the incident occurred two days earlier, on Sunday, when the suspects stole a high-priced lawn mower and a minibike.
The police specified that the suspects used bolt cutters to sever the cables securing the items and subsequently loaded a Toro Zero-Turn lawn mower and an Ego Battery Minibike onto a trailer. The pair managed to effortlessly attach the trailer to a minivan before vanishing with goods valued at approximately $7,900. The Murfreesboro TN Police Department's plea for community assistance in tracking down the suspects was clearly articulated in a Facebook post, which also included contact information for Detective Kyle Ferree.
Detective Ferree is the lead on this case, with the Murfreesboro TN Police Department asking anyone who may have knowledge of the crime to reach out at 629-201-5628. The urgency of the situation was mirrored by the swift dissemination of the BOLO notice among the community, reflecting the department's commitment to swiftly address and resolve such acts of theft.
