
Nashville authorities are currently on the hunt for a hit-and-run driver who left a pedestrian dead in the early hours of yesterday morning. The fatal incident occurred around 2 a.m. on West Trinity Lane, near the I-65 North exit ramp. According to the Nashville Government's official website, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the street at the traffic light where the exit ramp intersects with Trinity Lane when he was hit by a black Nissan Murano.
The victim, believed to be a 39-year-old man from Nashville, was swiftly transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigators have been piecing together clues in an effort to track down the driver who fled the scene leaving behind a cloud of questions as heavy as the grief that now enshrouds a family. Efforts to positively identify the man are ongoing, with the Medical Examiner’s office deeply involved in the case.
