Buzz, a new coffee shop, is slated to open its doors inside the Cambria Hotel, which once hosted the WWJ AM News Radio station. Located at 600 West Lafayette Boulevard, the establishment aims to honor its radio legacy, offering patrons a taste of history and robust coffee flavors. As ClickOnDetroit reported, the coffee shop will have a walk-up window for convenient grab-and-go service, signaling responsiveness to the brisk pace of urban life.
The menu seems to cater to various preferences, including drip coffee, cappuccinos, and lattes, in addition to a "Build Your Own Brekkie" option. Those looking for something quick can opt for grab-and-go salads or deli sandwiches. Joseph Caradonna, a co-owner of A.M. Buzz, conveyed to WXYZ his excitement about creating a homage to the radio buzz. "By incorporating our love for radio and the buzz it creates, we are excited to provide a place for the local community and visitors of Detroit to grab a breakfast and a coffee," said Caradonna.
The establishment aims to provide quick service and a taste of tech with a side of customer autonomy. According to details shared by ClickOnDetroit, customers will be able to place their orders at self-service kiosks inside the store or online. There's also the promise of seating for those who wish to dine in. The cafe has announced it will operate daily, opening its doors from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
