Inside the package was a credit card, which the thief used for a two-hour spending spree at various undisclosed merchants, racking up charges exceeding $1,000 before the theft was noticed, according to a statement obtained by NOPD News.

Authorities have connected this individual to a previous incident on October 13, 2024, where a similar crime was committed in the 1200 block of North Johnson Street, indicating a pattern of behavior that local law enforcement is keen to disrupt and bring to justice.
