New renderings have been released for a 5½-story parking structure set to be built in the Arts District of Downtown Las Vegas. The facility, scheduled to open in 2026, will help address parking issues in the area, particularly on weekends. The structure will be located at the corner of Casino Center and Utah, near local brewpubs and storefronts.
The City of Las Vegas has shared renderings of a new parking facility that will provide over 500 parking spots. The facility will also include 10,000 square feet of retail space and public art installations. The Arts District development project, costing $19.7 million, includes 480 on-street parking spots and 874 spaces in various lots. A retail area will be located on the ground floor of the building. The parking structure will offer free parking between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekdays. "We've added nearly 300 new parking spots in just the last two years, which is a 35% bump. We'll continue working on adding more before the parking garage opens in 2026," according to 8NewsNow.
