After an hour of firefighting efforts, the fire in the delta exposure was extinguished at 12:28 PM. Although the home to the left, labeled the bravo exposure, was threatened, firefighters managed to protect the structure from significant damage, with only the fence suffering from the encounter with the flames. The firefighters' quick action and strategic planning were pivotal in mitigating what could have spiraled into a larger disaster.
No injuries to either residents or firefighters were reported, marking a fortunate outcome amid the destruction, the San José Fire Department informed the public. The Red Cross has been brought in to help the nine individuals displaced by the fire, which includes 2 adults from the primary residence and 4 adults, with 3 children from the delta exposure.
