Authorities apprehended Victor Gonzalez for a suspected DUI following a hit-and-run accident in North Harris County. The incident took place last Saturday, when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to the scene of a vehicle crash on the 25500 block of Kuykendahl Road, as reported by the office's Facebook page.
Upon arrival, the officers found that the responsible party had fled after the crash. Gonzalez was located shortly after and showed signs of intoxication. Deputies administered a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which apparently went to confirm that he was indeed under the influence. Gonzalez was subsequently arrested and faced charges of Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Stop and Give Information.
Constable Mark Herman stated, "Victor Gonzalez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Fail to Stop and Give Information."
