
The City of North Las Vegas and Nevada Plants are offering free trees to local residents on Saturday, at Prentiss Walker Park. Starting at 10 a.m., 100 trees will be available, one per person, while supplies last, according to the City of North Las Vegas.

The event is first-come, first-served and offers desert-adapted trees along with guidance on planting and irrigation. It is supported by the U.S. Forest Service and NDF IRA funds. Nevada Plants is a nonprofit focused on tree advocacy, education, and environmental programs in Nevada communities, as reported by the City of North Las Vegas.
