The "Flavors of Aloha" event was awarded the Program of Excellence Award in the Community/Neighborhood Special Event category for events with 10,001+ attendees. The Historical Kiel Ranch Orchard received the Elmer H. Anderson Park Excellence Award for its heritage preservation efforts. The "What’s Your Sign" program won the Program of Excellence Award for Youth Enrichment, recognizing its contribution to young people's education, as reported by the City of North Las Vegas.

The City of North Las Vegas has been recognized for its parks and recreation efforts, with Chris Quaresma named Young Professional of the Year. Parks and Recreation Director Doug Guild stated, "The City of North Las Vegas strives to provide high quality programs and recreational opportunities for our community, and while we don’t do it for the recognition, it’s an honor to see the positive impact our efforts have on our residents." The city manages 34 parks, sports complexes, three recreation centers, three aquatic facilities, two golf courses, and over 15 miles of bike trails, providing spaces for community engagement and active lifestyles.
