The New York City Police Department has taken to social media in a bid to capture a woman alleged to have been involved in a knife attack in Brooklyn. The altercation, which left a 23-year-old female victim with multiple slash wounds, occurred last Saturday in front of 875 Williams Avenue, as per a post from the NYPD Crimestoppers' official Facebook page.
According to the Facebook post, the suspect, whose identity remains unknown, was embroiled in a dispute with the victim when she brandished a knife and attacked. The victim sustained cuts to her face, arm, and torso. The NYPD Crimestoppers are offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the assailant's capture.
The NYPD has encouraged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
