
Four individuals are currently sought by the NYPD for a reported assault and robbery that occurred in Brooklyn earlier this month. According to a post from NYPD Crimestoppers, the incident took place last Tuesday, April 8, at around 7:45 PM near the intersection of Park Place and Nostrand Avenue. The suspects reportedly approached a 67-year-old victim, assaulted him, and then forcibly removed his property while he was on the ground.
Officials have urged anyone with information regarding the crime to step forward. A reward of up to $3,500 has been offered for tips leading to an arrest. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous can call the NYPD at 800-577-TIPS or to submit a tip online through the NYPD Crimestoppers website.
The NYPD has not released suspect descriptions, but the investigation remains ongoing. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was assaulted, though their condition has not been made public. The 77th Precinct, which covers the area, is expected to be on heightened alert following the incident.
