
Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in an incident of aggravated harassment aboard a subway train in Queens last week. The altercation occurred last Wednesday at approximately 6:56 p.m., a 29-year-old woman faced verbal and physical abuse by an unidentified aggressor while on a northbound R train nearing the Queens Plaza Station.
According to a social media post from the NYPD Crimestoppers, the suspect reportedly used racial slurs toward the victim before kicking her multiple times in the legs. After the incident, the individual exited the train at Queens Plaza and left the scene on foot. The department's report states that the suspect’s whereabouts are currently unknown, and investigators are requesting assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the event or have relevant information.
The NYPD Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. The police have urged the public to be vigilant and to report any tips anonymously by contacting 1-800-577-TIPS.
