The New York Police Department is seeking information related to a shooting incident that occurred in the Bronx last month, leaving a 31-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the head. The NYPD Crimestoppers took to social media to amplify their call for tips that could lead to the arrest of 40-year-old Hassaun Goodridge, identified as one of the shooters in the March 14th attack that took place at approximately 2:49 PM near 501 Brook Avenue. According to the post, Goodridge, accompanied by another individual who has since been apprehended, allegedly discharged firearms in a public space, resulting in the victim’s critical injury.
While the NYPD's 40th Precinct is actively investigating the case, community members are urged to come forward with any information that might assist in locating Goodridge. A reward of up to $3,500 has been offered for information leading to an arrest. The NYPD emphasizes that callers can remain anonymous when reporting to the Crimestoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
The victim, whose identity is being withheld, remains in critical condition at a local hospital following a shooting. The motive behind the incident is still unknown.
