Residents of Oak Creek, take note: The local government on South Sixth will hit the pause button for a day of staff betterment. On Wednesday, April 9, the Oak Creek Civic Center, which houses the City Hall, Health Department, and the Library, will be non-operational due to a staff training event.
As noted on the City of Oak Creek's official website, the closure will temporarily halt usual communication channels—no responses to emails and no live assistance for phone calls. This pause is aimed at improving public service efficiency. However, it's important to note that emergency services will continue without interruption, maintaining their constant vigilance to ensure Oak Creek’s safety.
The one-day closure comes with a promise: normal operations will resume the following day. By Thursday, April 10, the library will be open.
