
A house fire in Casselberry caused injuries to one individual and endangered the life of a pet cat last Friday, according to local fire officials. The blaze, which erupted around 3 p.m. on Laura Street, resulted in minor burn injuries for one person who has not been identified. Additionally, a cat was rescued from the perilous flames and subsequently revived with a pet oxygen mask.
Emanating from the side of the house, the fire spread to the garage and reportedly consumed about 50% of the home before firefighters could contain it, reported ClickOrlando. Operational teams from the Seminole County Fire Department, assisted by the Longwood Fire Department, responded swiftly to the emergency call. Through their efforts, no additional injuries were reported in the incident that displaced residents and their four-legged companions alike.
