Orlando authorities have detained a man accused of fatally stabbing his father in their home. According to FOX 35 Orlando, the incident occurred yesterday morning at 9456 Candice Court. Police responded to the scene at about 6:47 a.m. and found Meb G. Yohan, born September 23, 1954, with multiple lacerations. He was later pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
The suspect, Almeb Y. Gebreyohannes, born January 22, 1987, is the victim's son and was charged with Second-Degree Murder with a Weapon. The Orlando Police Department, in a social media post referenced by their official account, stated that the suspect "was taken into custody without incident."

The department also revealed that Gebreyohannes had a history of confrontations with law enforcement, including an incident in 2014 when he was involved in an officer-involved shooting and another in 2022 when he was tased after threatening an officer with a knife.
