
A 22-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Milwaukee. The incident, which occurred near North Lovers Lane Road and West Silver Spring Drive, was reported by WISN to have taken place at approximately 8:45 p.m.
The driver involved, a 29-year-old, remained on the scene and has been taken into custody. Milwaukee Police shared that the victim was crossing the street when the collision occurred, and despite the life-threatening injuries incurred, they were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Charges against the driver are currently pending, awaiting review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office, as quoted from a statement obtained by FOX6 News.
