NBC Philadelphia reported that police discovered her early morning yesterday, wrapped in a sheet and shower curtain, with multiple stab wounds to her neck and torso.
The woman's body was found after friends reported her missing, having last contacted her on Wednesday last week. They noticed signs of violence in her apartment and contacted authorities. Police discovered her body at her home on the 4400 block of Frankford Avenue. According to 6abc, authorities are searching for a person of interest and the victim's vehicle as the investigation continues.
No arrests have been made as the Philadelphia Police Department's homicide unit leads the investigation into this unsettling crime. Authorities have not yet recovered a weapon linked to the killing, as reported by FOX 29 News.
