
The Philadelphia Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in finding Janiyah Gause, a 15-year-old girl who has been reported missing since last Monday. Gause was last seen around 9:00 PM on the 4500 block of North Marvine Street, according to a statement from the Philadelphia Police.
Standing at 5’7″ and weighing 260 lbs., Janiyah has brown eyes and black hair. Her last known outfit included a white shirt, blue bow, black hoodie, and navy-blue pants. The community has been alerted and is asked to remain vigilant, in the hope that any new information will come to light. The circumstances leading up to Gause's disappearance have not been publicly shared by the authorities. In similar cases, the first hours after reporting a missing person are crucial.
