Pinellas County volunteers can now streamline their service with a new digital platform, as the county introduces GivePulse to help locals engage more comfortably with volunteer opportunities. Announced in time for Volunteer Appreciation Month, the county moved to enhance the volunteer experience, now offering a digital 'one-stop shop' for would-be do-gooders.
The online platform, called GivePulse, is designed to simplify the volunteering process by allowing users to sign up for opportunities, log their service hours, and communicate more efficiently with site coordinators. According to a release on Pinellas County’s official website, this initiative recognizes the nearly 5,000 service hours contributed each month by volunteers and interns in the county.
Residents with a heart for service now have an easier way to connect with causes they care about. The GivePulse platform is live, and potential volunteers can head to the county's website for more information, including a user guide. As the Pinellas County's website states, "Volunteering is now made easier through GivePulse, an online platform that helps connect volunteers to meaningful opportunities in their community."
"Pinellas County is grateful to each of our dedicated volunteers and interns who in total give nearly 5,000 hours a month to help others and allow us to continue serving the residents," expressed the Pinellas County's official announcement.
