Pittsburgh law enforcement is appealing to the public for assistance in locating Te’Aja Parrotte, a 12-year-old girl reported missing since last Saturday. According to the WPXI, Te’Aja was last seen on Junilla Street, donned in a black shirt, with a scarf and possibly red Coca-Cola pants or blue jeans. She is also known to have been carrying a gray backpack at the time of her disappearance.
Standing at 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 115 pounds, Te’Aja has brown eyes and black hair styled into “puff balls,” as described by the City of Pittsburgh Public Safety in a report. In an apparent discrepancy, Pittsburgh Police initially reported her height as 4-foot-4. Te’Aja is said to frequent the Hill District area and is known for visiting the local library.
The Pittsburgh Special Victims Unit detectives have been tasked with the search for Te’Aja and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
