In a heartwarming show of unity, Special Enforcement and SWAT teams have come together to support one of their own, a Placer County Sheriff's Deputy, who's facing the challenge of his child's battle with cancer. "It’s our hope that this brings some relief to your family—whether it’s for an hour, a day, or a week. This check is just the beginning. We’re here for you, and we’re in this together," the Placer County Sheriff's Office shared in a sentiment of solidarity. Along with the fundraising efforts, a non-profit 'CATO Cares', affiliated with the California Association of Tactical Officers (CATO), contributed a unique gift to young Louis - a plate carrier meant to be a symbol of protection and strength for his fight ahead.
