As the Detroit Pistons gear up for their first home playoff games in six seasons, fans can expect a cornucopia of new food items, fan giveaways, and merchandise at Little Caesars Arena. According to CBS News Detroit, festivities will commence with Game 3 tomorrow at 7 p.m., broadcast on TNT, and continue with Game 4 on Sunday at 1 p.m., shown on ABC.
The Pistons have announced that the first 10,000 fans at Game 3 tomorrow will receive thundersticks and a Pix Mob light-up bracelet, while all fans will snag a free T-shirt. Similarly, Game 4 attendees can look forward to thundersticks and a rally towel. WXYZ reported that these items are part of an effort to build an electrifying atmosphere during the "special surprise playoff elements" scheduled for player introductions and during halftime shows.
The arena offers a variety of special food options for fans. Highlights include the Triple Double smash burger, Truffle Poutine Fries, Wagyu Beef Bao, and a unique Dim Sum donut for those looking for something different from typical game-day food.
Adding to the fanfare, The Detroit News highlights pregame fan fest events outside the arena, featuring airbrush tattooing, custom T-shirt making, and a player card photo booth activation, assuring there's no shortage of pre-game excitement. Noteworthy too, these festivities are free and do not require a ticket to the game.
The Pistons are adding excitement to the playoffs with local performances and exclusive merchandise. Michigan-native Kem will sing the National Anthem at Game 3, and Detroit’s LaShell Renae will perform at Game 4. Fans can also pick up playoff-themed T-shirts and snapback hats from the team store.
