The Plymouth Police Department recently provided a peek into their weekly operations through a social media post, sharing a range of statistics about their law enforcement activities. According to their report, the week of April 20th to April 26th saw officers responding to a total of 719 incidents. Amid these were 14 arrests and 10 criminal complaints, laying bare the challenges that law enforcement encounters even in a single week.
On the traffic front, Plymouth's streets witnessed 20 motor vehicle accidents and 68 traffic stops, suggesting a persistent need for vigilance on the roads. The frequency of such events is a reminder of the constancy of risk in our everyday commutes. There were also 27 house and building alarms reported, alongside 19 disturbances and 26 suspicious activities—all indicating the range of concerns that occupy the police department on a regular basis.
An interesting figure from their post highlights that there were 38 accidental 911 calls amidst all incidents.
